KANGAN INSTITUTE (ACE) JOINS I-CAR EDUCATION RESOURCE

I-CAR Australia CEO Mark Czvitkovits has announced that I-CAR and Kangan Institute’s Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) have signed the Education Resource agreement to deliver select I-CAR courses to meet the requirements for AUR32116 and AUR32416 training packages for apprentices.

Gavin Cribb, the National Training Manager – Automotive Centre of Excellence – Kangan Institute said “ACE is determined to take the lead when it comes to education in the Auto Body sector. Having access to industry specific learning materials is essential to deliver successful programs. Technology is changing at such a rate that it is impossible to keep up without industry partnerships. ACE is extremely proud of its association with industry, partnering with I-CAR will assist us in deriving contemporary programs and promoting best practice.”

CEO Mark Czvitkovits commented “The agreement between I-CAR and ACE will now provide all Certificate III Body Repair and Refinish apprentices with the most up to date training resources available to the collision industry. ACE joins eight (8) RTOs nationally in working together to meet the change of technology and training to our future technicians.”

Mr Cribb added “Our apprentices require advanced teaching and learning platforms. Access to the I-CAR resources, coupled with our advanced blended learning framework will provide further benefits to our apprentices. We truly look forward to building our relationship with I-CAR well into the future.”

The agreement will see the newly qualified technicians receive not only their Certificate III qualifications, but access to also I-CAR Platinum accreditation on completion. This will give each successful technician the currency required within the new collision repair standards nationally.
