APEC 2007 Automotive Dialogue
18 April 2007
On April 18, The Automotive Centre of Excellence hosted a cocktail event as a part of the 2007 Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Automotive Dialogue.
The event was attended by 100 local and international delegates. Guests were impressed from the beginning with a great welcoming message for them projected on the enormous "I-Glass" screen located at the entrance to the facility. There was a walk through tour of the facility with Institute staff on hand to answer any questions and offer their expert knowledge.
There were some concept cars displayed for the delegates including a bulletproof Audi supplied by EDAG, a Holden Torana and a Toyota Sportivo. Staff member, Vince Panozzo wowed everyone with his "Morgan" which he built himself.
Everyone in attendance had a fantastic evening and ACE proved to be the perfect location to host this international event of very high industry importance.
