On Track with Kangan Institute

Published in the April 2010 Perfect Fit magazine, this article outlines how Kangan Institute motorsport students are living life in the fast lane with opportunities to do hands-on learning at motor sport meetings.


Since 2004 the Coburg Campus, with industry affiliation, has offered Cert II - 6 months full-time, Cert III - one year full-time and a Diploma in Automotive - Motorsport. On average there are 20 eager students per year wiling to take up the challenge involving weekend racetrack participation.

Students gain real world experience, giving them a more well-rounded education compared with other purely academic courses. Students are committed to the program which sees teachers assisting them to find their natural skills, nurture them, and maximise their potential. On average, students are aged between 17 to 24 years, with the oldest being 49, proving you're never too old to learn...
