Renault and Kangan Institute now training apprentices Australia wide

Kangan Institute has successfully launched the Renault Australia training programme. As a part of this partnership we provide apprentice technician training programmes for the national Renault dealer network.

This agreement has created exciting career pathways for Renault apprentices. Between 2016 and 2020 the Renault-ACE partnership will help more than 200 apprentices take the next step in their careers.

Kangan Institute not only trains the apprentices, but is responsible for developing the curriculum, recruiting apprentices, enrolments and certification upon completion.

The apprentice program is delivered over eight one-week blocks across three year at the purpose built, state-of–the-art Renault Academy premises in Mulgrave.

Apprentices receive the following:

• Competency based training aligned to the Renault pathway
• Embedded Renault product and brand training
• Specific Renault systems training
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Certificate II in Automotive Air-Conditioning Technology
• Graduate with Advanced Renault Technician (ART) Qualifications

Kangan Institute also trains dealership mentors who work with the apprentices at Renault dealerships.
